The Sales Analyst will report to the Senior Director of Sales, providing support for the largest team in the company. In this role, the analyst can expect to play a role in several internal cross-functional discussions, including supply chain, marketing, the Direct Store Delivery network, and trade finance.

The Sales Analyst is responsible for coordination and standardized reporting required for the execution of daily, operational, and strategic initiatives the team is focused on.The position is visible in customer facing meetings, planning sessions, and phone inquiries. Gather and report on category developments, including competitive trends, utilizing various software and online tools (IRI, Retail Link, internal tools and programs). Managing and developing reports as needed to complete these tasks accurately and in a timely manner.

Provide on-going, accurate, analytical reporting in the areas of sales trends, sales forecasts, demand planning, and monitoring field sales execution of the plans.

Support the team at customer facing meetings and planning sessions while actively managing internal projects.

Accurately tracking and evaluating product performance based on key performance indicators, determining product impact on the brand, segment, and category.

Communicate program policies, materials, and resolve issues and inquiries from the Direct Store Delivery network thoroughly to resolution.

Deliver engaging, informative, articulate, accurate, and well-organized presentations or written documentation.

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent

Years of Related Experience: Typically 0-3 years

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Computer skills are required and proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) including Outlook is required. Knowledge of SAP and Access is beneficial. Experience and training with processes and systems. Business degree preferred. CPG sales experience is desirable. Desire to learn new systems and technologies required. Project and people management is desirable. Analysis or finance experience preferably in the consumer package good industry.
